Baffert and Silverbulletday inducted into Hall of Fame

Eclipse Award winning trainer Bob Baffert and champion filly Silverbulletday were among those inducted Friday into the National Museum of Racing's Hall of Fame. Also enshrined were former Horse of the Year Tiznow, jockey Eddie Maple, steeplechase trainer Janet Elliot and steeplechase horse Ben Nevis II.
Retired jockey and Hall of Fame member Chris McCarron was the guest speaker at the induction ceremony.
Baffert is a three-time winner of the Eclipse Award as outstanding trainer, capturing the award three consecutive years beginning in 1997. The 56-year-old trainer has earned more than $135 million in his career, which includes eight Triple Crown race wins, seven Breeders' Cup victories and 10 champions.
